The larger the band, the more the music will sound like an end of evening event that people will get up and dance to. The smaller band will set the mood and will be more in the background the smaller we are. It all depends on what type of mood you are trying to set.

All sizes of band can do the same songs which consist of Jazz standards and Rat Pack classics. The largest band (10 piece) can also throw in some soul and latin arrangements to make sure everyone at your event is up on the dancefloor!
